The Financial and Business Association of EuroAsian Cooperation together with the International Banking Council established the International Public Award “Business Elite of Eurasia” in 2017.
By announcing the competition the founders of the award intended to encourage the desire of the Eurasian business community to lead in the professional field. The award is designed to stimulate competition in the business community and is aimed at the civilized development of the national markets.
The organizers of the contest see their task in:
- broadly covering and providing an international level of information support to the best achievements in the field of business activity in the Eurasian region;
- promoting the leaders of various business sectors of the states of the Eurasian region, companies and individuals who maintain high standards of professionalism, business ethics and impeccable reputation in their activity;
- providing a publicly accessible and obvious choice of reliable business partners for potential customers.
According to the decision of the founders of the Award, nominees can be enterprises and organizations of different forms of ownership, registered and operating in accordance with the national laws of their countries, as well as individuals who have shown themselves in different areas of entrepreneurial activity.
The first award ceremony was held in Moscow on November 30, 2017 and the second on November 30, 2018. The participants of the competition and the winners were representatives of the financial and banking business. The participants of the Official ceremony were: the nominees of the award, representatives of business, political and cultural circles, national governments and banks, heads of industry unions and associations of the Eurasian countries. The winners were awarded exclusive author's figurines with the image of a bee that is a symbol of hard work, thrift, diligence and solidarity.
Prizes for the competition are made in the creative workshop of the artist, sculptor, chocolatier, member of the International Art Foundation and the Professional Union of Artists, winner of international competitions Mila Zakatova. The foundry workshop is the art and production company "Bronzek". The material from which the figurines are made is bronze, gold, silver and obsidian.
